Practice Tolerance

When united, the United States is fulfilling its promise and potential. By the measure of the foundational principles of our great country, are we living a patriotic life committed, as united citizens, to respect, appreciation, and acceptance toward our fellow Americans? What is tolerance and is it the foundation upon which our country was founded?

  • The tolerant, are the true patriots. Tolerance equals freedom, liberty, and strength for America.
  • Tolerance and Patriotism are the true foundational spirit of America.
  • Tolerance supports Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness for ALL.
  • ALL American citizens are united citizens of America…every one of us.
  • True patriots love their country and ALL its citizens.
  • Tolerant patriots choose to put the best interests of our country and ALL its citizens over political or self-interests.

TAP is a movement and an organization committed to these values and precepts upon which America was founded.  We are committed to restoring and revitalizing the Soul of America.  Marianne Williamson said there is a “universal blessing inherent in (America’s) first principles…it is a literal power to transcend…all lesser ideas.”  True patriots are tolerant, and are devoted to preserving America’s founding principles.   Equality, unity in diversity, religious freedom, democracy, and balancing liberty with common good, are all expressions of tolerance and universal principles of good:

Equality of Rights and Opportunity
E Pluribus Unum, unity in diversity, has historically appeared as an important message on U.S. currency.  Within our diversity lies a unity.  We reflect and embody diversity, yet we are united as citizens of America committed to tolerance.

Balance of Individual Liberty and Protection of Common Good
As expressed in the Preamble to the Constitution, “We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity…”

Religious Freedom
The separation of church and state was intended to support our spiritual flowering by guaranteeing its freedom.  Jefferson wrote, “What we need is liberty, fully protected by the law, to believe or not believe as you see fit.”

These values are under attack by those who do not cherish the rights upon which our country was founded.  This is not a time for blame or victimization, but a time for empowered American citizens to fully manifest its ideals through our daily thoughts, deeds and actions.  We are a preemptive movement to prevent hate and intolerance from further coming into power.  Join our movement to revitalize and strengthen America through its citizens.
